A warm, spiced wine drink perfect for winter.
Ingredients

- 1 bottle of red wine
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 5 cloves
- 1 star anise
Instructions
- Pour the wine into a large pot.
- Add the sliced orange and lemon.
- Stir in honey, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise.
- Heat over medium until warm, do not boil.
- Let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain and serve warm.

- Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Use any red wine you prefer.
- Can be made in a slow cooker.
