Description

A savory tart filled with mushrooms, shallots, and herbed goat cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 shallot, diced
  • 1 cup herbed goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add shallots and sauté until translucent.
  5. Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the mushroom mixture on the pastry squares.
  8. Add a dollop of herbed goat cheese on top.
  9. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
