- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Form the ground beef into four patties.
- Season patties with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
- Add mushrooms and sauté until tender.
- Cook the patties in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of swiss cheese on each patty.
- Toast the hamburger buns in the skillet.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bun and topping with sautéed mushrooms.
