Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground lamb over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, peas, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Spread the mashed potatoes over the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use leftover mashed potatoes for quicker prep.
  • Feel free to add more vegetables as desired.
