Ingredients

- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups mashed potatoes

- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Stir in carrots, peas, beef broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Spread the meat mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use lamb instead of beef for a traditional version.
- Add other vegetables like corn or green beans if desired.
- Make it ahead and freeze for later use.
