Ingredients
- Flour – 2 cups
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Butter – 1/2 cup
- Eggs – 3
- Milk – 1 cup
- Baking Powder – 2 tsp
- Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
- Food Coloring – as needed
- Fondant – for decoration
- Edible Glitter – optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
- Divide the batter into two bowls and add food coloring to one.
- Pour the batters into greased cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool before decorating with fondant and edible glitter.

- Choose colors that represent New Year.
- Use different shapes for unique designs.
