Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Food coloring (optional)
- Frosting of your choice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- If using, add food coloring until desired color is reached.
- Fill the cupcake liners ⅔ full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting.
Notes
- Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
- Use festive sprinkles for decoration.
