Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked black-eyed peas
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup chopped collard greens
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add diced ham and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in collard greens and cook until wilted.
- Add black-eyed peas, chicken broth, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with cornbread for a traditional touch.
