- 5 pounds of russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the cubed potatoes in the slow cooker.
- Add the chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
- Once cooked, add melted butter and sour cream.
- Mash the potatoes until creamy and smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use chicken broth instead of water.
- Feel free to add cheese or herbs for extra taste.
