A simple and delicious recipe for Oklahoma nut candy.
Ingredients

- 2 cups of mixed nuts
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of corn syrup
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the mixed nuts on a baking sheet and toast for 10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, salt, and bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture over the toasted nuts and stir to coat.
- Spread the mixture back onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be made with any type of nuts you prefer.
- Adjust the baking time for desired crunchiness.
