- 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chopped Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a bowl, mix Oreo cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition.
- Blend in sour cream and heavy cream until fully combined.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a chocolate version, add cocoa powder to the batter.
- Top with whipped cream and additional Oreo pieces for presentation.
- Use a water bath to prevent cracks in the cheesecake.
