Description

A delicious overnight cinnamon apple baked french toast casserole that’s easy to prepare and perfect for brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups of diced apples
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  2. Add bread cubes and diced apples to the mixture, stirring to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar.
  5. Drizzle the butter mixture over the casserole.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden and set.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
