A delicious overnight cinnamon apple baked french toast casserole that’s easy to prepare and perfect for brunch.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 2 cups of milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- 2 cups of diced apples
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Add bread cubes and diced apples to the mixture, stirring to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar.
- Drizzle the butter mixture over the casserole.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden and set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with maple syrup if desired.
- Can be made with any type of bread.
- Store leftovers in the fridge.
