Description

Delicious overnight cinnamon rolls that are soft and fluffy.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread melted butter on top.
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar evenly over the butter.
  8. Add raisins if desired, then roll the dough tightly.
  9. Slice into rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
  10. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  11. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  12. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  13. Let cool before serving.

  • Make sure the milk is warm, not hot.
  • Adjust the sugar according to your taste.
  • For icing, mix powdered sugar with milk to desired consistency.
