Description

Delicious overnight cinnamon rolls that are easy to prepare and perfect for breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Warm milk and butter, then add to dry ingredients.
  3. Add eggs and mix until dough forms.
  4. Knead for about 5 minutes and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough and spread with melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and cover.
  8. Refrigerate overnight.
  9. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
