- 1 loaf of brioche bread, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place cubed brioche bread in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, granulated sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring even coverage.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the plastic wrap and drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Best served warm.
- Can be topped with fresh fruit or whipped cream.
