- 1 loaf of brioche bread, sliced
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Arrange brioche slices in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on top and use a kitchen torch to caramelize.
