- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar for serving
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place the cubed bread in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring all are soaked.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) the next morning.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until golden.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
