Description
This is a simple recipe for Panda Express-style orange chicken.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 green onion, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, coat chicken with cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the fried chicken in the pan.
- Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Drizzle sesame oil and stir well.
- Garnish with chopped green onion.
Notes
- Serve with rice for a complete meal.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- You can use chicken thighs for more flavor.
