Description
A delicious patty melt with a unique secret sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices of rye bread
- 4 slices of cheese
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the sliced onion in a skillet until caramelized.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create the secret sauce.
- Form the ground beef into two patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the patties in the skillet until desired doneness.
- Assemble the melt: spread secret sauce on one side of the rye bread.
- Add a patty, cheese, and caramelized onions, then top with another slice of bread.
- Butter the outside of the bread and grill until golden brown on both sides.

- Use your favorite cheese for flavor.
