Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Beat until smooth.
  4. Fill cupcake liners halfway with batter.
  5. In another bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and heavy cream.
  6. Add a spoonful of peanut butter mixture to each cupcake.
  7. Cover with remaining batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Let cool.
  9. Frost with chocolate frosting.
