Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Italian bread
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced onion and green pepper, sauté until soft.
  4. Add the ribeye steak, cook until browned.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
  7. Place the steak mixture on the bottom half of the bread.
  8. Top with provolone cheese.
  9. Place the top half of the bread on and wrap in foil.
  10. Bake for 15 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
