Description
A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak served on cheesy bread.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onion and green pepper, sauté until soft.
- Add the ribeye steak, cook until browned.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
- Place the steak mixture on the bottom half of the bread.
- Top with provolone cheese.
- Place the top half of the bread on and wrap in foil.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Use ribeye for the best flavor.
- Feel free to add mushrooms or other toppings.
- Adjust the cooking time based on your oven.
