Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternately with buttermilk.
  8. Arrange pineapple slices and cherries in the bottom of the bundt pan.
  9. Pour batter over the pineapple and cherries.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
