A delicious blend of pistachio, kunafa, and brownies.

- 1 cup pistachios, chopped
- 200g kunafa pastry
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter with kunafa pastry until well coated.
- Press half of the kunafa mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt to the egg mixture.
- Fold in chopped pistachios.
- Pour the brownie batter over the kunafa layer.
- Top with the remaining kunafa mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Use unsalted butter for better flavor.
- Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
