Description
A simple and delicious pork recipe cooked in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear the pork shoulder on all sides until browned.
- Place sliced onion and garlic in the crockpot.
- Add the seared pork shoulder on top of the onion and garlic.
- Pour barbecue sauce over the pork.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the pork and mix with sauce before serving.
Notes
- Serve with bread or rice.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
