Description
A creamy and cheesy potato bake that is perfect as a side dish.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- Sprinkle half of the onion and garlic over the potatoes.
- Pour half of the cream and milk mixture over the potatoes.
- Add half of the cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until golden brown.
Notes
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Can be topped with fresh herbs for added flavor.
