Ingredients

- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Butter for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, flour, egg, and salt.
- Knead the dough until smooth.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of potato filling on each circle.
- Fold and seal the pierogi.
- Boil pierogi in salted water until they float.
- Fry in butter until golden brown.
Notes
- Feel free to add cheese to the filling.
- Serve with sour cream.
- Can be frozen before cooking.
