Ingredients

- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, and oil.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting.
- For the frosting, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting over the cooled pumpkin bread.
Notes
- You can add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
