Delicious pumpkin bread filled with a creamy maple cream cheese center.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour half of the pumpkin batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the pumpkin batter.
- Top with the remaining pumpkin batter.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
