Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Add cubed bread to the mixture and stir gently to combine.
  5. Fold in chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar and maple syrup on top.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes until set.
  9. Let cool before serving.
