Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Butter – 1 cup

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by patting it dry and rubbing butter all over.
- Season the turkey with salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing or vegetables.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan with carrots, onions, and celery.
- Pour chicken broth into the pan.
- Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting every hour.
- Check the internal temperature (should reach 165°F).
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.

- Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
- Save the bones for making stock.
- Pair with cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes.
