A flavorful stuffing for Thanksgiving turkey.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion and celery; sauté until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, and spices.
- Pour chicken broth over the mixture and stir.
- Add beaten eggs and mix until combined.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Can be prepared a day in advance.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
