  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just incorporated.
  5. Mix in sour cream and salted caramel sauce until smooth. Pour filling over crust.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  7. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour to cool gradually.
  8. Remove from oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

  • For a chocolate variation, add 1/2 cup cocoa powder to the cream cheese mixture.
