Description
Sausage rolls are a popular snack made of seasoned sausage meat wrapped in flaky pastry.
Ingredients

- 500g sausage meat
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles.
- Place a line of sausage meat along one edge of each rectangle.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll the pastry over the sausage meat and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Can be frozen before baking.
- Try adding herbs for extra flavor.
