Description

A delicious shrimp scampi pasta bake with a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and parsley to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
