  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink.
  5. Pour in white wine, simmer until reduced by half.
  6. Stir in remaining butter and lemon juice until melted.
  7. Toss in cooked spaghetti and parsley; mix well.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley and lemon wedges.
