Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Stir in vanilla and sour cream.
  6. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fill muffin cups ¾ full with batter.
  8. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon for topping.
  9. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of each muffin.
  10. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool before serving.
