Description

Ingredients

- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic slices to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Do not burn.
- Add red pepper flakes to the oil and stir for 30 seconds.
- Drain spaghetti, reserving a cup of pasta water.
- Add drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil.
- If needed, add reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
- Season with salt and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Use high-quality olive oil for the best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes according to your heat preference.
- Consider adding grated Parmesan for a richer taste.
