Description

A flavorful dish featuring chicken in a spicy cajun sauce served over fettuccine pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss chicken with cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  5. Remove chicken and set aside.
  6. Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until softened.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  8. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  9. Add chicken back to the skillet and mix well.
  10. Toss fettuccine with the sauce and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less cajun seasoning.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Garnish with parsley or extra parmesan if desired.
