Spicy Southwest turkey burgers are flavorful and juicy.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
- 1 egg
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional toppings: avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, cilantro, jalapeño, and egg.
- Form the mixture into four patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings.
Notes
- You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less jalapeño.
- Serve with a side of sweet potato fries or a salad.
