A delicious sticky bun breakfast ring perfect for brunch.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, egg, flour, cinnamon, and salt to the mixture.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread brown sugar, nuts, and raisins on top.
- Roll the rectangle tightly and cut into pieces.
- Arrange pieces in a greased pan in a ring shape.
- Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve with cream cheese icing if desired.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
