Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add melted butter, egg, flour, cinnamon, and salt to the mixture.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread brown sugar, nuts, and raisins on top.
  8. Roll the rectangle tightly and cut into pieces.
  9. Arrange pieces in a greased pan in a ring shape.
  10. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with cream cheese icing if desired.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
