Description
A refreshing summer drink featuring the bright flavors of strawberries and lemons.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine strawberries and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.
- Add lemon juice and sugar to the strawberry puree. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- For a less sweet version, reduce sugar to 3/4 cup.
- You can substitute agave syrup for sugar for a different flavor.
- To enhance the drink, add a splash of soda water for fizziness.
