  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the tart shell in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, combine milk and heavy cream. Heat until warm.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, egg yolks, and cornstarch.
  5. Slowly add warm milk mixture to the egg mixture, whisking continuously.
  6. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  7. Stir in vanilla extract and rose water.
  8. Pour custard into the baked tart shell.
  9. Top with sliced strawberries.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.
