- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup pound cake, cubed

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Wash and slice the strawberries.
- In a bowl, mix strawberries with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine whipped cream and vanilla extract.
- Layer the pound cake, strawberries, and whipped cream in a clear glass dish.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
- Feel free to substitute cake with ladyfingers.
