Description

Ingredients

  • 12 manicotti pasta tubes
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook manicotti in boiling salted water for 7 minutes, then drain and cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each manicotti tube with the cheese mixture using a piping bag.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Arrange the stuffed manicotti in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with extra cheese if desired.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
  10. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
