A classic stuffing recipe perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1 cup of onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of sage
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add celery and onion; sauté until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth and mix until well combined.
- Transfer to a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
- Use stale bread for best results.
- Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
