Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together sugar and butter.
- Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
- Press dough into a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and lemon juice, mix well.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over the cookie base.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
