Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and stir.
- If using, add food coloring to achieve desired color.
- Spread or pipe the icing onto cooled sugar cookies.
- Let the icing set for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover icing in an airtight container.
- Thin the icing with more milk for a drizzle consistency.
