- 1 cup buttermilk

- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients; stir until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
