Ingredients

- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and chop sweet potatoes into cubes.
- Boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash sweet potatoes in a large bowl.
- Add brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the mashed sweet potatoes.
- Mix well until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Top with marshmallows.
- Bake for 25 minutes until marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes
- Can substitute brown sugar with maple syrup.
- Add pecans for extra crunch.
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
