Description

A flavorful dish featuring shrimp cooked in a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, and garlic.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and stir well.
  5. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until shrimp are coated and sauce thickens.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil and top with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less gochujang.
  • Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu.
